Hey, I'm Nikita! I'm a student in Mumbai who gets way too excited about genes, cells and a good experiment. Biology is my thing, and I'm always asking "wait, how does that work? But it's not all textbooks. I love art and music, I'm happiest outdoors, and spending time with kids is one of my favourite things to do. Nature is my reset button. Think of a sunset, the sky turning gold while all your worries set along with the sun. I could watch that forever. I'm an optimist, and I'd love to use what I learn to help the environment and the people around me. Still learning. Still growing :)
A supplement to the bioremediation project. I collected household tap water, bottled mineral water, sea water and rainwater, and tested Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) and pH to understand water quality.
I segregated and collected 20 kg of kitchen organic waste and converted it into compost over several weeks, used as fertiliser for house plants.
